Comments:
Today the class was a little quiet as compared to the previous ones. Maybe it was the snow and all the shovelling, sledding, sliding and sleeping in the snow. Anyway we look forward to having a noisier, louder class next week. What do you think?  The good news is that the kids always seem to be on track with their bhajans, shlokas and yoga lessons. Keep up the good work kids. We also missed some of our regular little friends, they must have been tired after the weekend activities. This week we did our regular activities and began the class with stretching. We did our shlokas and Shanta aunty asked for some requests for next week. Kids if you have a favorite shloka, you can let her know and she will teach that in the class. We have mastered all the bhajans now and are really good with the tongue twister bhajan as well. Which one is that? I forgot do you remember?

Today our  theme was 'Friendship'. Looks like we talk a lot about our friends and friendship. Does anyone remember the friendship band we made? Today we learnt that size does not matter and if you are a true friend, you will find a way to help your friend. We learnt through the story of the 'Lion and the Mouse' that mouse really considered the Lion a good friend and so helped when no one else could help him. We made a beautiful heart craft that we can gift to someone or keep it for us.

We are really thorough with the geetha chanting, the kids need to keep listening to it more and more
Parents you can refer to the link below for an excellent online tool to learn more.

As a reminder I just want reiterate what Ameetji was saying about the Entry and Exit policy. For ENTRANCE PLEASE DO NOT USE THE BACK DOOR AND ALSO DO NOT HOLD IT FOR ANYONE TO ENTER (you do not want to be held responsible for any mishap) Exit you can use the back door but if you use the front door while exiting you can eat prasadam :)
thank you for your cooperation.

Questions for this week?
  • Was the lion happy about friendship with Mouse?
  • How did the Mouse Help the Lion?
  • What is the tongue twister bhajan?
  • Which Entrance should we use to Enter and Exit?

Look out for more fun crafts in the future. Also special thanks to parents for bringing a tasty snack. We also gave our ‘
धन्यवाद’ in Sanskrit.
