Comments: Today is the last class before the end of the year celebrations begin. We reviewed all the shlokas we have learned thro' the year. We also reviewed most of the bhajans we have learned this year. We practiced Subramanyam, Jaya Jaya Devi, Amba devi Saraswati, along with our usual Ganesha, Gopal and Anjaneya bhajans. Kids, you did great! We did the 4 Gita shlokas along with aunty today! Good job kids. Do not forget to practice all your Shlokas, Gita chanting and Bhajans during the summer break.

We have taken la la lots of pictures in class today. All of them, along with the ones taken in earlier classes, will soon be available on the blog gallery. Pretty dresses kids, but the smiles were even more prettier :-). Oh, and the monkeys too, they were all smiles as well :-)

We missed Jacqueline aunty today, but she will be back in time for the next class.

We will be having our class party next week (June 7th), after we assemble our sanskrit book project. Please be reminded to press all the animal projects under some hardcover books. That will make the work perfectly flat and easy to lay onto the pages of the book. Weather permitting, we will be running around a lot outdoors :-). Parents, you are welcome to bring in snacks, little water bottles, juice boxes or even real food (which the parents can eat :-). Thanks for the sign ups today, sound deliiicious :-).

Today, we had another new friend join us - Sahana Prasad. Welcome Sahana and family. Hope you enjoyed our class and look forward to seeing you in the coming weeks.

Our's is a super cool class! Our parents (and kids too :-) are always enthusiastic with their contributions of time and efforts. Thanks for the overwhelming response in assisting with the preparations for the June 14th celebrations. We would like to thank Anant, Kristi, Radhika, Hema, Seeta, Sangeeta, Vanita, Rupa, Piyush, Asmalika, Kashi, Chinnakaruppan, Aanandhi, Aanandhi's m-i-l (Thanks aunty) for all the work they did. (Go dads!) It means a lot when there is so much work to be done :-). It has been a great pleasure to work with all of you. Once again we would like to remind all the parents to bring the kids dressed up as Krishna/Radha. As you saw in class today, we will keep the crowns for the boys and waist belts for the girls ready. Any of you willing to help us put up the props/decorations on the day of the event, please sign up or email one of us sevikas. We will be working from 9 am. Without your support, all the effort put forth so far, will hold no ground. We can take as many helping hands as we can get for the day. Together, we can make the day look spectacular.
