Comments: Today was our first complete session and what an enthusiastic bunch we were! We started with Yoga stretches. The children were very good with their animal poses and full points to the parents for getting up and doing the stretches with the kids! We learnt to say a new Shloka: कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मीः - karaagre vasate lakshmIh. We decided to try saying it every morning before starting the day. Today we started our very first Geeta Chanting session. Pretty soon the children will be chanting their 4 verses! It never ceases to amaze us how fast they pick up! In the Bhajan segment we had a fun action song about Lord GaNesha. Everyone enjoyed singing and dancing to it! Then we got to make our very own GaNesha puppets!! Moms and Dads did a great job in helping our budding artists as they let their creative juices flow! We had a snack break after which the children grabbed their GaNesha puppets and got ready for story time with Nanda Aunty! Our friend Vikram shared his GaNesha doll with the class and everyone got a turn to touch our little GaNesha! Thank You, Vikram for sharing so kindly - धन्यवादः! We learnt about the story of how GaNesha got his elephant head following which we had a great game of GaNesha Vadati!! Guess who else joined our game?!! Little GaNesha, himself!! Then it was time for our Arati. We are so proud of our little children and enjoy spending Balavihar Sundays with them! Please check the Blog regularly for updates and photos. See you all next week.
