Comments: It was great to meet up with all our toddler friends after a break! As the children have gotten very familiar with our class routine, they led many activities today! They led us all in opening prayer and yoga. We decided to say a familiar prayer (vakra tunda) in addition to our new ones. Then we continued with Geeta chanting as a group and sang Bhajans, with the kids once again in-charge! Then we said Brahmaarpanam and thanked Arkit's family for the fun snack and had snack time. After snack time, we counted 1 - 15 in English and Sanskrit. The children enjoy counting in Sanskrit, and love doing the colors with the book. At story time, we heard the story of how the honest woodcutter was rewarded by the fairy, while his greedy friend was taught a lesson. We concluded with closing prayers. Our next class is on April 27th, 2014.
