Comments:
This week we learnt another new shloka, every week we think we know all the shlokas but still there is something new to learn. I wonder when Aunties will stop this. This one however is very important. This is the night time shloka that we say before we sleep and we ask for forgiveness for all the bad stuff we did knowingly or unknowingly. Its a difficult one but if we make it a habit to say it every night then we will soon get it.
Surprisingly enough we are receiving a lot of requests from the little ones for their favorite chants and songs. This week all the little ones wanted their favorite Great Lord Hanumanji and Ganapathi. Now the whole class just dances to this tune isn't it fun to watch their faces when they do it. These moments are priceless, every week we see it and every week its more fun.
We have made so much progress in Geetha chanting as well. Now we know 3 shlokas. Listening to it everyday is the key, Parents you will be surprised by how fast they can learn by listening. Please make sure your kids hear the chanting whenever they can and this will help them memorize faster. Please check the link below for more help.

This week the theme was about 'Being Nice vs possessions'. What makes us special having possessions or being nice? A very valid question which we have ask ourselves even as adults. Children should learn to differentiate between what is more important; helping their friends or showing their good stuff. At this tender age it is important for them understand this concept so they can implement it when they grow. We tried talking about this important concept by talking about the ' Silly Goose' Why was it silly? because it was so proud of her feather which was a mere possession. Parents you can talk about this wonderful story to get the message across. You can ask them questions like why did the Goose think it was special? What made it special in the end?
Our craft as we all know is always a link to the story. We made a craft of the Goose with the red feather. Parents, you can use the craft to talk about the story at home.
In Sanskrit we repeated our numbers and reviewed the colors. Parents you can keep repeating these numbers so they can count on their own. For reference please check the link below.
For counting sheet please the link below.
