Comments: Today was yet another interesting class. We missed Sirisha aunty! Some of our little friends were missed too. The weather is definitely turning colder. So we had to do some Yoga warm ups to get us started. We went on to chant some shlokas and the Bhagavat Gita. We sang a new Bhajan for Hanumanji in view of the upcoming festival of Deepavali. We also sang our favorite Ganesha Bhajan and Khaate Bhi Raama Kaho. After all the action, it was time for a snack. After snack, we counted from 1 to 10 in English and Sanskrit and then got ready for our Color learning. The children know all the 6 colors that they learnt so far and they can't wait to add more colors to their list. After that it was story time.Today we heard the story about how Hanuman crossed the mighty ocean and met Sita and also warned Ravana to give Sita back to Rama. The children love stories about Hanuman. No matter how strong and brave and intelligent He is, He never forgot Rama and always remembered him before doing anything. Then the children made adorable Hanuman puppets. Finally, Hanumanji came to play Hanuman Vadati and we finished with our ending shloka. we had to go to the auditorium today for the Aarati and pledge. We will miss seeing the children for the next 2 weekends. See you all on November 10th!
