Comments: It was another great day with all our little friends! As always, we started with our beginning prayers and yoga. We did all our usual poses and practised our new pose- the Bug pose. Next, we chanted our Stotras and Bhagavat Gita. We chanted our shlokas, including the new one on Goddess Lakshmi (Namastestu) and all five verses of the Bhagavad Geeta. After Geeta chanting, we sang Bhajans and learnt a new one on Krishna- Nandalala, Yadunandalala. Then we said Brahmaarpanam and thanked Raghav's family for the delicious snack and had snack time. After snack time, we counted 1 - 10 in English and Sanskrit. We learnt a new word in Sanskrit- "Uurukam" (pant) while doing our colors with the book. At story time, we heard the story of the lion and the mouse, which became friends, even though they were very different. We finished the class with Aarti and concluding prayers. Our next class is on February, 23rd, 2014.Craft: Lion Puppet
