Comments: Today was  a day for learning something new in every part of our class! As always, we started with our beginning prayers and yoga. We learnt a new pose- the Bug pose. Next, we chanted our Stotras  and Bhagavat Gita. We learnt a new shloka on Goddess Lakshmi (Namastestu) and also started on verse 5 of the Geeta.  After Geeta chanting,  we sang some Bhajans including our favorites Subrahmanyam and Khaate bhi Raam kaho. The new bhajan we learnt was Great God Hanumanji.  Then we said Brahmaarpanam and thanked Pranav's family for the yummy snack and had snack time. After snack time, we counted 1 - 10 in English and Sanskrit. We learnt a new word in Sanskrit- "yutakam" (Shirt)! while doing our colors with the book.  At story time, we heard  the story of the fast but lazy hare that was defeated in a race by the slow and steady tortoise. We decided that it was better to keep working and not take a break until we are finished with our work! Aarti and Pledge was at the auditorium today. We will meet again for our next class on February 9th.
