      Comments:
Thanks for bringing all the little roaring lions and friendly turtles to the class. Our class strength is increasing with each class and its always a pleasure to see new innocent faces. A warm welcome to all our new parents.

Today the theme was Love. Many of you were wondering why we did this theme when it was not Valentine. This was a part of our introduction to the Cord Walkathon. The story and the craft we did in the class about being kind to everyone was a preview for this event. We will provide more details and talk about it more in the next class, meanwhile check out the Chinmaya website for details.

As usual we did some more stretching and roaring in the class. We also said hello to each other the 'Turtle' way.  We felt we are as tall as the trees and would have almost touched the roof, ooooh! So keep stretching little friends.

We also talked about some more names of  Ganapathi like Ganesha, Gajanana and and and ....since aunty couldn't remember more she asked us to help her in the next class. Don't forget to get a name for Ganesha in the next class. We also reviewed Ganesha's parents now everyone knows their names.
We just cant believe how smart our kids are, they can not only count in English up till 10 but also in Sanskrit. I bet Parents you are really proud of your little ones.

We also took a trip to Norway to meet Katrinele and her family. We saw the kind things she did to others and to a kitten she found in the forest. In the end we learnt that kindness always is rewarded in some way or the other. The Cord Walkathon is one way we can show our kindness to the needy few.

We also made a wonderful popup card, thanks to Shanta aunty who taught us how to do it. Keep looking for more fun projects in the future.

      Review questions for this week.

      • What special quality did Katrinele have?
      • What did she get in the end?
      • Why did Mother Holdra reward her?
      • How should we be with others?

Also special thanks to Neela and Nikash's parents for bringing a tasty snack. We also gave our ‘धन्यवाद’ in Sanskrit.
