Comments:
It was so nice to be back after a long long break. We really missed our young audience. Hopefully you had a fun spring break. Now we have a lot of fun days ahead. This week was about krishna.  We talked quite a bit about him. We included him in every activity that we did. We began by chanting a shloka about him and sang a lovely bhajan about him. Let us see how many of you remember it next time. We also sang 'khate bhi Krishna kahon' which gave us some rhyming challenge. Does anyone remember the Krishna pose we did?
our story was also about the strong and brave Krishna who lifted a mountain on his Pinky finger. Can you do that ? We learnt that when we have extra power like Krishna we should use it to help others and not to trouble anyone. Who was troubling the villagers in this story?
Our craft was a beautiful feather made from cardstock. Hopefully everyone had fun decorating it.
We are ready with our Geetha Chanting and now we can chant without the help of Sangeetha Aunty.
Parents for extra practice; you can refer to the link below for more guidance.

This week we played a new fun 'Mama Nāma Game'. This is a fun way to introduce children to each other. You can play this game at home with kids. Please find the link to the game below.

As a reminder I just want reiterate what Ameetji was saying about the Entry and Exit policy. For ENTRANCE PLEASE DO NOT USE THE BACK DOOR AND ALSO DO NOT HOLD IT FOR ANYONE TO ENTER (you do not want to be held responsible for any mishap) Exit you can use the back door but if you use the front door while exiting you can eat prasadam :)
thank you for your cooperation.

Questions for this week?
  • Do you help your friends?
  • Who was troubling the villagers of Mathura?
  • Who is the God we are talking about in the new bhajan Nandalala?
  • Which Entrance should we use to Enter and Exit?

Look out for more fun crafts in the future. Also special thanks to kids and parents for bringing a tasty snack. We also gave our ‘
धन्यवाद’ in Sanskrit. Please remember to bring a healthy snack as discussed in class. Thank you for your support.
