Comments: Yet another fun filled class went by. We learnt a new shloka on Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of learning who we will be celebrating as one of the Devis of Navaratri during the next two weeks. The children did a wonderful job of reciting the shlokas and the Bhagavad Gita. We sang Bhajans and had new fun song added - Khaate Bhi Raama kaho. We learnt that we can say Raama's name while doing anything. For craft, the children made owl puppets which had wings in the shape of their hands. That was a fun project and the parents and children enjoyed working on it. At story time, we heard a story about how the owl always sleeps in the afternoon. The owl became a wise bird and learnt that we should always be nice to others. We started learning colors in Sanskrit today and will be learning more every week. We can't wait to meet our little friends next week!
