Comments: An extremely cold morning greeted us as we headed for Balavihar but it was totally worth coming in to spend a fun class with our little friends! Yoga warm up really helped us today with getting warmer after which we sat down to chant our Stotras and Bhagavat Gita. The Aunties were excited to hear the children starting to chant out loud! After Gita chanting we sang some Bhajans including our favorite Great God Ganapathy and Khaate bhi Raam kaho. Then we said Brahmaarpanam and thanked Sirish for the delicious snack and had snack time. After snack time, we counted 1 - 10 in English and Sanskrit and got ready to learn our colors. All the kids know their colors so well now! They will learn some more new colors next class. Then it was story time. We heard the story of the two cats that lost the donut to the monkey because they refused to share! After story time, for craft, we made a cat puppet. Finally, we were able to squeeze in some time for a game of Hanuman vadati and Shirah skandau... before heading to the auditorium for Aarati and Pledge. We will meet after a break on December 8th.
