It was a long gap again and it already feels like we are in Summer break. This was a week of review for kids as well as Parents. Many of you would have attended the Annual Program last week. Hopefully you had as much fun as everyone else had.
We are really looking forward to next weeks class. Next week is our Parent participation week. Thanks to all the parents who signed up for an activities. It is definitely going to be a lot of fun. Please keep in mind that whatever activity you are going to do stories, bhajans, shlokas; keep them simple so that everyone will get a chance and kids can also enjoy.
We will be talking more about the coming class picnic, so keep attending the classes.
This week we reviewed our old shlokas and chanted them together. Since a lot has been taught throughout the year we need to keep reviewing it to make sure we know. In bhajans we reviewed what the new bhajan which was 'Achyutam keshavam'. We have less time to review this but keep practicing it so you get really good at it. We also sang all our favorite bhajans and are getting really good at them.
We listened to a story about the bhakti of Shabari towards Lord Rama and how she waited for so many years to meet him. We also saw how kind Lord Rama is and how he will accept even the smallest offering that we have; if we offer with love.
We made a beautiful craft keeping with this theme about Lord Rama.
We also reviewed our colors in Sanskrit and almost got all of them right. For some other games in Sanskrit, please refer to the links below.

Questions for this week?
- Who is your guru?
- What did Shabari offer to Lord Rama?
- How was she related to Lord Rama?
Look out for more fun crafts in the future. Also special thanks to kids and parents for bringing a tasty snack. We also gave our ‘धन्यवाद’ in Sanskrit. Please remember to bring a healthy snack as discussed in class. Thank you for your support.
